Plant Elixir

Care Guide

We all strive to be the best botanists we can and people are always asking us what to feed their plants?

It just so happens that we here at Mar Mar have come up with our own unique formula which is suitable for almost every houseplant we stock. In this article we will explain the key essentials of fertilizer and are super thrilled to introduce our new product: Plant Elixir.

What is Plant Elixir? Our effective plant food is an organic biodegradable fertilizer that is derived from plant sources and has no animal supplements. It is packed with amino acids, carbohydrates, nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium and provides nutrition for your houseplant. Adding this product to water makes your plant healthier, stronger and more resistant.

Your well established houseplants will need a little feed during their main foliage growing season (between May and September), and will especially need a little boost when they are flowering. For us, liquid fertilizer always works best, which is super easy to use and can be added to the plants’ diet every fortnight or once a month, depending on the variety. Our Elixir is an all purpose feed that will make your plants thrive, contributes to a healthy root rhizosphere and makes your green housemates grow a lot faster.

Unlike other fertilizers this feed invigorates soil health, creates an active, ambient rhizosphere and encourages beneficial micro-organisms which in turn help develop healthy roots.

Another bonus: It’s 100% vegan. For us, it’s not just about what we eat; our environment matters too! Plant Elixir doesn’t harm us or our planet, which makes it an excellent feed.
