These incredible plants bring an exotic feel to any warm and bright space!The care for these can be a little more challenging as they need warmer temperatures and brighter light, but we think they're well worth the effort!

|Bright indirect light - a few hours of morning or afternoon sun should be fine but watch out for scorched leaves.
||As much light as possible - winter sun is not as strong.
|Water when the soil is completely dry, usually once or twice a month in the growing season.
||Do not water at all if the plant goes dormant in the winter months.
|Need warmer temperatures - a windowsill or conservatory in the summer would be perfect.
||Very sensitive to low temperatures - must be kept away from cold windowpanes and draughts.
|Feed once a month or so in the growing season.||Do not feed in autumn and winter.|

Origin: South America
Toxicity: Mildly toxic to humans and animals.
Soil: Standard potting soil with perlite or equivalent added for extra drainage.
Repotting: It's best to repot at the beginning of Spring about once every two years.
Propagation: These plants produce pups at their base that can be separated out when repotting the mother plant.
Common problems: Low humidity can result in browning leaf tips.
Care Tips: Place on a tray of pebbles and water to increase the humidity in the air!
