This gorgeous fern is easily identified by the incredible crocodile-like pattern on it's leaves! They'll be happy in low to bright indirect light and will appreciate warmer temperatures and higher humidity - a perfect choice for a sunny bathroom!

Scientific Name: Microsorum musifolium 'Crocodyllus
Family: Polypodiaceae
Origin: Australia & Southeast Asia
Toxicity: Non-toxic to humans and animals.
Soil: Standard potting soil mixed with perlite, or equivalent, for good drainage.
Repotting: It's best to repot at the beginning of Spring when the plant has become rootbound - once every two years or so.
Propagation: These plants can be propagated if they produce offshoots at their base - simply separate and plant the pups when repotting the mother plant.
Common problems: Low humidity can result in brown leaf tips and pale foliage could mean your plant needs a dose of fertiliser - and keep an eye out for scale!
Care Tips: Place these on a tray of pebbles and water to increase humidity!
Fun Fact: These plants are epiphytes, meaning they grow on other plants and get most of their nutrients from the air and rain!
